The past three seasons, LeGarrette Blount’s playing weight for the Patriots was 250 pounds. The Eagles think that was too high and are willing to pay for weight loss. ESPN is reporting that Blount has an incentive in the May deal he signed with the Eagles.
If Blount weighs between 240 – 245 pounds at the start of training camp, he can earn up to $50,000. At 250 pounds in 2016, Blount had his most productive season. He set a career high with 1,161 yards rushing and led the NFL with 18 touchdowns scored on the ground.
